HR Marathon Held in Kyiv

On 25 June 2025, in Kyiv, a three-day Training and Innovation Course for managers and specialists in human resources was completed as part of the HR Boost project. Participants included HR specialists representing medium and large companies from Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions.

Over three days, participants learned modern HR marketing tools, effective recruitment and onboarding practices, digital skills, the use of neural networks in recruitment, as well as methods of internal communication focusing on trust, inclusion, and support for vulnerable employee groups.

“This year, we received more than 141 applications from companies in almost all regions of Ukraine. For participation, we selected not only experienced professionals but, above all, those ready to be agents of change. The completion of the course shows that we managed to bring together exactly such people,” said Liudmyla Sizikova, First Vice President of the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional adviser of the HR Boost Project, who coordinated the participant selection.

This is the fourth of five training programmes. The overall goal of the project is to train 100 HR specialists from across Ukraine who will strengthen cooperation with vulnerable categories of employees or aim to introduce inclusive practices in their teams.

“HR Boost is more than training. It is a place for professional and personal growth. We created conditions in which specialists not only gain knowledge but also develop new approaches to collaboration with volunteers, related businesses, public and professional organizations through win-win interaction and the creation of ‘open’ workspaces. The completion of this training is another step towards systemic changes in the field of work,” said Nataliia Starodub, Project Manager, NGO “Mentor Center”.
