6th International Forum “Human Capital: In the Focus of Transformations”

On 25 November, the VI International Forum «Human Capital: In Focus of Transformations» brought together over 300 participants on site, nearly 4,000 online viewers, and 39 speakers, becoming one of Ukraine’s key platforms in 2025 for dialogue on skills, education, and economic recovery.

The Forum brought together representatives of government, business, education, expert communities, and international partners to discuss how human capital can drive Ukraine’s economic recovery and its integration into the European qualifications space.

The agenda focused on four strategic themes:

  • Ukraine’s integration into the EU skills and employment ecosystem
  • Alignment of education with economic and labour-market needs
  • Professional qualifications in national security and defence
  • Professional qualifications in education

Among the key international speakers was Michael Paulo, Programme Director of Skills4Recovery, who shared insights on current labour-market trends and the role of modern training solutions and sectoral cooperation in strengthening Ukraine’s workforce.

To showcase the practical dimension of qualifications, a dedicated exhibition zone brought together nine qualification centres presenting their work. Visitors could try out modern equipment, including a welding simulator, milling and turning machines, CNC tools, and 3D printers, and receive consultations on various professions and qualifications.

The zone also featured demonstrations of a medical evacuation vehicle, introductory sessions on first aid, basic tactical exercises, and culinary demonstrations.

The National Centres NCP EQF, Europass, Euroguidance Ukraine, and Eurodesk Ukraine also took part, offering consultations, workshops, and showcasing international initiatives.

The Forum concluded with an award ceremony recognising contributors to the development of Ukraine’s National Qualifications System.
