As part of the “Profosvita: Autonomy for the Future” project, EasyBusiness and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine have presented practical digital tools that will help VET providers navigate the entire process of establishing a supervisory board: from preparing the initial decision to forming its membership and launching the new body. The platforms bring together step-by-step guidance, the regulatory framework, dozens of ready-to-use document templates and an automated document completion feature.
A dedicated platform developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine brings together regulatory and procedural resources on establishing supervisory boards.
It is an interactive step-by-step guide for:
- founders of VET providers;
- heads and management teams of VET providers;
- representatives of employers who will be involved in the work of supervisory boards.
On the platform, users can find a complete step-by-step process, the current regulatory framework, all the necessary documents, a breakdown of responsibilities among those involved and the timeframe for completing each stage.
In addition, the “Profosvita: Autonomy for the Future” project has developed the Supervisory Board Launch Platform — a practical online tool that guides a VET provider’s management team through every stage of the process.
The platform includes:
- a step-by-step roadmap for establishing a supervisory board;
- dozens of ready-to-use templates for decisions, letters, minutes and other documents;
- explanations of the purpose of each template and how to use it;
- automatic document completion once the provider’s key information has been entered.
This means that VET providers do not need to search for sample documents from different sources or repeatedly enter the same information. Users can work through all the necessary steps in sequence and receive a complete set of documents prepared for their provider.
The need for such solutions was confirmed by a survey conducted by the project team among 78 VET providers from 22 regions of Ukraine. The results showed that 60% of the providers surveyed need ready-to-use document templates, while 58% need clear step-by-step guidance on establishing a supervisory board.
The platforms presented respond directly to these practical needs. They turn a complex organisational and legal process into a clear sequence of actions and reduce the administrative burden on VET provider teams.
