A public event titled “The Future of Ukraine’s Labour Market. Employment Strategy 2030” marked the finalisation of work on Ukraine’s Employment Strategy for the period up to 2030, along with the Operational Action Plan for its implementation in 2026–2028.
On 3 December 2025, 48 vocational education and training (VET) providers from across Ukraine took part in a full-day workshop in Kyiv dedicated to the implementation of the new Law on Vocational Education.

The Skills4Recovery and the EBRD, in partnership with the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, launched a pilot to train qualified construction workers.
The second Annual Conference of the Multi Donor Initiative (MDI) Skills4Recovery — “Workforce Development for Ukraine’s Path to the EU” — took place in Kyiv.
On 2 September 2025, the Multi Donor Initiative Skills4Recovery held a regional meeting in Mykolaiv with representatives of local authorities, VET providers, businesses, and the veteran community.
The “State Employment Service” mobile app, developed with support from the German Government, helps Ukrainians find jobs in today’s challenging labour market.
To help Ukrainians gain high-quality skills in short supply on the labour market, the Skills4Recovery offers flexible short-term courses for adults. More than 2,500 people have already been retrained.
